Drop Point of Grease Tester
As per ASTM D566 , IP 132
The drop point of lubricating grease is used for determination of the dropping point of lubricating grease. The dropping point is an indication of the heat resistance of the grease and is the highest temperature at which it passes from a semi-solid to a liquid state under specific test conditions.
The Drop point tester is entirely made of SS 304. The electrical heaters are provided with temperature control and motorized stirrer. The equipment is supplied with sample tube, cup ,heating liquid bath and thermometer.
